When I visited the campus, I fell in love. The landscape was beautiful. The teachers and staff were terrific, and there seemed to be so many activities to do on and around campus. But most of all, I loved how personal it is. They are there to help you succeed. You are not just a number to them, and they personalize everything they do for you. That is what I liked most about my visit and being in contact with them.
I have really enjoyed my time at Corban University! The campus is beautiful and is located not far from downtown Salem--Oregon's capital. There are many clubs, music and sporting activities, and outdoor activities. The professors are experts in the subjects they teach and take the time to know the students. The class sizes are smaller than many other colleges and universities, making the students and professors feel like family.
I love Corban. My university has a strong Christian community, which is extremely welcoming. Professors have high academic standards, and provide enough support for you to reach those standards.
It's awesome. The professors are amazing, the student community is fascinating, and the food is pretty good, too. Dorm life is awesome here, and the campus is actually rated as the 4th most safe in the entire nation. That's pretty good! I would heartily recommend Corban to anyone looking for a great Christian college.

You should definitely take the time to visit the colleges you are interested in, and go on a day when the school has a designated day for tours or visiting to get a better feel for everything the campus has to offer. Go by what your first impression of the school is. Don't let cost get in the way if you really want to attend a school, because there is plenty of financial aid available out there. When you first attend the college of your choice, don't get overwhelmed with the heavy class load. Take everything in stride and don't be afraid to ask for help from peers or professors if you need it. Take the time to relax and make friends through extra-curricular activities or in your dorm. College is the place to learn and get a solid education but also a time to make life long friends, so don't waist a moment of this precious time in your life!
The worst thing about my school is the lack of racial/cultural diversity, although this is mostly due to the lack of this diversity overall in the Northwest. I would like to get more exposure to other cultures, although I get a little bit of that at Corban.
Someone who is interested in getting a quality education with a Christian perspective.
The best thing about Corban College is the feeling of being on the campus; it was one of the things that attracted me to this school. You get a feeling of warmth and of a place to belong. At Corban, you feel very accepted and this allows you to feel comfortable in the enviroment. You are respected for your beliefs and talents and encouraged to share your thoughts. Corban is the ideal campus!
College is extremely different from high school. You are now entirely on your own and your parents don't make every decision for you anymore. And you are responsible for keeping your grades up, your parents won't let you know when you are failing. Everything is now on your shoulders, and you hold the key to your future.
Corban is a Christian based university offering quality education integrated with a fun, light hearted atmosphere where relationships and great experiences are fostered.
Community service, being Christian, having a close knit community of people.
Corban University is a community. The teachers care about the students and want to help them above all else. Class sizes are small so you get a personally know the teacher and your classmates. Corban University is also a Christian University. Unlike many other Christians schools Corban does not require students to attend chapel. Even though it is not required that students attend chapel about 90% of the student body attends. I really enjoy this because it shows that the students truly care about their faith and want to grow more as a Christian.
The most frustrating thing about Corban is probably the dinning hall. Many students complain about the way the meal plans are organized and the price of the food. The quality of food isn't always the greatest either. However, we are grateful to have food at all, even if it isn't our favorite.
They are very engaging a have a love for getting to know people and love on them, we're a big family here.
When i talk about Corban i brag about many factors that make Corban this wonderful school. These factors are the size of classrooms, interaction between teachers and students, the business program just to name a few. However, the one thing i brag about the most is the fact Corban is a place where i can worship and learn about God. God occupies every discussions, thoughts, actions. This is something of great magnitude .
Many different people step onto the campus of Corban. The diversity is so unique, it is something to encourage. Even though there is diversity, every student has one thing in common: passion. Passion is something that every student has inside of them at Corban. Passion is important. People who lack passion don't care. Anyone who lacks passion is the kind who should not attend this school. Corban is looking for those who look towards building up their own future, plus those around them.
The academics are awesome. There are many majors to choose from and a great selection of quality classes.
I think Corban is great school with a warm, friendly learning environment.
I have no idea what their stereotype is. I have not heard one.

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
