Describe your favorite campus traditions.

Cindy

My school is best known for the OCAAT opportunity.

Allyson

Cornell College is best known for it's amazing OCAAT program. The one course at a time schedule allows you to focus intensely on one class for three and a half weeks before moving on the next.

MacKenzie

Cornell College is best known for one course at a time. Students take a class for 3 1/2 weeks and complete nine classes per year. I love the block plan, as it allows me to focus on one subject at a time. The Cornell campus is listed on the National Historic Register and is located in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, a quiant, picturesque small town. Cornell offers many scholarships and great financial aid, and there is a wide range of diversity, with students from all over the world. Extracurriculars abound, with something for everyone to become involved.

If you want to feel wanted and special, Cornell College is great for you. The town where it is located, Mt. Vernon, has barely over 4000 inhabitants. The people are very kind, loving, down to earth, and hospitable. Everywhere you go, you are greeted with a warm greeting and smile. The campus itself is a very tight knit community. All the students get along and respect each other. The students and staff are equal and united. One never feels less than another. It is a place to be accepted and welcomed for who you are.

Angela

One course at a time. Block plan madness; you CAN do anything in 18 days but you might not be sane afterwards.

Jennifer

The one course at a time (OCAAT) system, and the entire campus and school being a historical site.
