The students are people without a lot of money that are going to college in hopes of bettering themselves. Usually locals that are straight out of the local high school.
The school is filled with students of all ages from around the area. Most of the student population is friendly and welcoming to anyone. Although most are from around the southern tier, there are quite a bit of students from NYC, from out of state, and a few from other countries.
At first, most classmates seem shy to offer up opinions during class discussions, but once they get comfortable with each other, I've seen creative magic happen.
