Come with an open heart, open mind, and most importantly gusto. Charge into your work with the same amount of zeal that you put into your most favored passion. Stay organized: not just your living space, but with your time. Schedule in sleep, study, food, and fun, but over indugle in nothing. The proffessors there are happy to help new students as long as you show that you care. Do not get discouraged if you aren't pumping out A's. Its college, not High School. If you need help, there are plenty of people willing to do so.

That College would be this hard!

Hailey

I wish I had known that working in the cafeteria is a hard place to have work-study (especially as a freshman). I would have tried to work for athletics, the mail room, or a desk job.

Hallie

I can't think of anything

Luke

I wish I would have know of the full complexity of the students that attend the college. Because there are many people from many different clinches. Which makes covenant a very “social” diverse place. So I wish I would have been prepared for this because this can be overwhelming at times. Just so it would help me relate to the my different kinds of students that the college has.

Isaiah

There is nothing that I really wish I had known before I went. Covenant provided me with all the information I needed to succeed and enjoy my experience.

Zachary

I wish i knew how close the relationships on the hall actually become.

Sarah

The location of Covenant in relation to my home in Oklahoma seemed exotic and exciting. While this might be true, it does not mean that it is not difficult to live thirteen hours away from home. I love my college, and would never transfer, but I wish that I had realized how hard it would be to move so far away from family and friends. The experience has grown me, but I would have liked to anticipate the drastic change.

Zachary

that I needed to get a car in order to get off the campus.

James

How difficult it is to prioritize my time.

Corey

I wish I had known that everything I do in class will come back in the future, i.e. bad grades, failed assignments, etc.

James

I wish i would have tried for more scholarships, at covenant and elsewhere. there are many scholarships avaliable, and the cost is alot, but covenant does offer much assistance. I wish i would have known about the rock climbing and caving nearby.

Tucker

That it was so small.

Stephanie

I wish I had known more about the school's reformed background. I didn't come from a Presbyterian home, so I didn't know much about Presbyterianism or people of the Reformed faith, but I learned so much and don't regret anything from my time there.

Josh

I wish I'd been more socialized in general. Too bad I was homeschooled K-12.

Nanshelmun

I wish I had known how undiverse it was. I wish I had known that the school was 'Reformed' and conservative with mainly middle to upper-middle class students who don't realize the world is more than just what they have been exposed to in their Reformed churches in the burbs.

Anne

that going to school so close to home (2 miles) would be a very difficult thing for me.
