Craven Community College is an amazing school. They do their absolute best to ensure safety and cleanliness. All professors are nice and everyone does their best to help you succeed. The campus is beautiful and everything I’ve dreamed of. Going to college here is my dream and all the workers have made that happen for me.

Britney

It's a great Community College to transition and prepare students for university life.

Tori

As a highly mobile military spouse, I have found Craven to be the most worthwhile community college to attend. The class size is conducive to one-on-one attention with highly skilled professors. The professors have always been accessible in person and online. The courses are rigorous, but the student learning center and library are grade A resources that are stacked with appropriate staff and information. Campus size is small and plenty of parking. Administration and Registration staff are always kind and helpful, especially with commuters. I gave a 4/5 stars because I feel there needs to be a better understanding to financially and academically working with military and military dependent students.

Sandy

Craven Community College is a great stepping stone for transferring to a four year college. There programs are kept current and up to date and class sizes are rather small; this helps with teacher/student communication. I enjoy the laid back atmosphere and the ability to work at my own pace.

  5. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

Craven community college is a great place to get started. We are tested and forced to think critically the same way we would at a four year university. Craven is great because it is affordable. There is a Havelock campus, the main campus in New Bern, and even college courses available at the Marine Corps base allowing students to choose the location best for them. The teachers are always available to provide extra help and I can honestly say all of my instructors are enthusiastic about their subject.
