Cuesta College Top Questions

I haven't started class yet but I am enrolled to start on 01/20/2015. So far, I like the school a lot.

The dismal lack of school spirit or pride in Cuesta. There just isn"'t a whole lot of events going on and the ones that I've gone to weren't so great. Combine that with the commute and it's just not a place I want to be at for much longer than I have to be there. Even if there are events or programs going on. Though, to be honest, they appeal to a very narrow range of interests. In general, it's kind of a boring place.

I don't really know because this is the first semester i will be attending Cuesta College, but looking at it the few times that i did, i looks like the buildings might need to be updated structurally, and also the layout of the campus is a little wasteful. There could have been a little more thought in building and designing the layout of the buildings. But it is a nice school in a beautiful location.

Driving nearly five miles out of the city of San Luis Obispo has often made me think about the transportation issues involved with Cuesta. Although they have a fair amount of parking and a few busses running through town, I would say that I am most disappointed in Cuesta's transportation system. Striving for a more sustainable environment and campus, Cuesta has yet to improve their transit tactics. I think that there should be a greater incentive for Cuesta to allow student access to more busses, carpools as well as other alternative transportation methods.

There isnt much wrong with Cuesta, but i do think that they could use some more staff. Although, i know that due to budget cuts they are limited in this area.
