The kind of person that shouldn't attend Culver-Stockton College is someone who is not self motivated. At Culver you must push yourself academically. If someone doesn't try to get the best out of the college; then they probably won't. The student should be active and interactive by joining organizations on campus and meeting new people. Students should be ready to get involved and can't be lazy--Culver does many community service projects as a campus and within the smaller organizations.
A party person
If you are unmotivated, want to just be a number, or don't want to participate in school activities, this is not the school for you. If you want to go to a big school, this isn't the place either.
One who is not open to new ideas and experiences.
If a person is into a large social scene, like going out to the club or large parties every night this school is not for them. It is located in a small town where there is not much to do. Most of the student body are from rural areas and are accustomed to this lifestyle, but the students from the city tent to become terribly bored.
The kind of person who enjoys being in large atmospheres. The college is small, and makes up for half the population in the town that it resides in. This college is very diverse, after being here for 2 years i have met more kinds of people than I ever imagine existed. We are very open and accepting of every kind of person.
I believe that every type of person should try atleast a year at Culver-Stockton because the small town atmosphere of everyone knowing you by your name and saying hi to you everywhere you go is an awesome experience. If you live in a large city you might have a hard time adjusting but the professors and staff are great here and will help anyway they can.
