Cumberland County College is a great place to start out as a college freshman and earn an associate degree. The advisors are very willing to help and always encourage students to succeed and keep pushing the limits of success. There are many activities to get involved in, including the Honor Society, sports, arts, and even religious activities. Many of the professors expect the students to strive for success and to care about their education. I would even recommend local University students to consider taking a few classes at CCC during summer and winter, to speed up their graduation.

Cumberland County College is a good choice for a community college. It is a nice transition from high school to college because it's a little different than high school, but not an extreme change because the classes are simple and easy going. I think that the only negative thing about this school is that the credits don't always transfer.

The college really isn't too bad. The surrounding area isn't the greatest. Although, there are plenty of food choices and a mall. Public transportation is great, drops you off practically at the door. The cafeteria food is pretty good, but the cafeteria itself is on the small side. The professors, for the most part, are all really nice. I've yet to run into one who wasn't, and I've been here for two years. The campus is always clean, and well maintained. The list of majors I feel is lacking, but it is a community college.

Cumberland County College is a very unprofessional college in my opinion. Upon the graduation of my high school I feel trapped in 13th grade. The education system here is not very challenging, and many professors have "dumbed-down" their course work so as to pass as many students as possible.

The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Cumberland County College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.

  2. What should every freshman at your school know before they start?

If I could go back and talk to myself as a high school senior I would have told myself to go away to a four year school. Staying at home has been nice the past two years but I feel as though I am not as independent as I should be. If I had gone away I would be on my own to make my own decisions. Also, by staying at home the past two years I am now finding out transferring is not as easy as I thought it would be. If I could tell myself to go away to school because the classes would not transfer, therefore prolonging my time seeking a bachelor's degree, I would surely do it. As a high school senior one does not realize the importance of the decision between going to a two year or four year school. As a high school senior I was on the fence about going away, and if I could go back and tell myself to go away, I would do it in a heart beat.
