The Newman Library is probably the first spot students think of when they need to get some studying done. There are 4 floors of tables and open space for students to get some quiet time. However, often times, it gets a little packed, so there are alternative places where I like to study. In the library building, on the 6th floor, holds the largest computer lab in the school. In addition, there are also multiple computer labs located in the VC building that are free to use.
The Baruch library takes up 6 floors and the top floor holds the computer lab. Just like any other place on campus, you can’t get in without a student id. This floor of the library holds a very comfortable study area with plush chairs that students often sleep on. People who talk on their cell phones here are always given dirty looks.
