As a result of the fact that I am satisfied with the services that I recieve at my school. I am honored to say that there is nothing worst about this school at all. With that being said, I love everything about it. In the view of that the computer labs are always open when I need to access a computer. The food is great and the environment seem to be safe. Under those circumstances I am glad that I had came here to obtain my associate degree.
I don't like the fact that you have to take alot of un-neessary step to register in class for the first time. My advice is to go early to register
In my opinion, the worst thing about BMCC is the confusing classroom numbers. The switch at the drop of a dime while walking and it is very easy to get lost. Also how to get from north to south classrooms is also pretty confusing as well. Other than that, it is a great college.
Many who attend will agree when I say the high student population is a big issue. I complain this is the worst because; it causes many students to make it to class late due to over crowding in the lobby area. For instance, many students like my self have classes in the second building where some classes are held, and despite having five elevators in use, it still takes an extremely long time for a students make it to class due to the high capacity of students traveling in and out the building.
What bothers me the most is that the school is very crowded. The block that the school is on is filled with students walking in opposite directions. At times it feels very crowded. Some classes have a large number of students.
The worst thing about my school is it's aesthetics. Granted it's a community college and located in a city, but it feel more like a building than a picturesque kind of collge; a big main building with smaller sections and a big campus. All that is completly non-existant at BMCC.
The worst thing about my school are the prices for the books. Some books start at $100 dollars and some teachers do not refer to them as much as they should. The prices can be expensive especially if you dont have financial aid.
CUNY BMCC's student financial aid services are horrible. Students are not allowed to pay loan payments on campus. We have to pay online and get charged an extra service fee.
