Is that even though you get loan money you have to wait half a semester to receive it.
The frustrating thing about my school would be lack of communication with offices within the school through phone. it is hard to contact individuals that work at the school.
Taking remedial classes. If you dont pass it you retake it over and its very frustrating at the moment, because im repeating it.
The most frustrating thing about this school however is the time. When it comes to academics, time is money. Everything has to be done ahead of time such as writing essay assignments. In my English and Sociology classes, I had learned it is best to complete and submit the essays far ahead of time because the last minute situations are what will mess up everything abd stress you out. All the resources at BMCC, you have to make great use of them to your own advantage, especially ahead of time. In this case, allocate more time to get things done.
Its a big school and you tend to feel like a number. The administration needs alot of work and seems unprofessional. My college felt like a high school, security guards were rude and theres some corruption going on. BMCC needs lot of work. They have potential in being a top community college but fail in many areas.
it is a small school and it is only two years. It doesn't have a variety of differenr majors
The GPA is very competitive for healthcare schools in the CUNY system. You need at least a 3.8 GPA. What is more frustrating to me is that they are not considering my BS degree GPA because it is a Community College (2 years). They are only considering coursework done in the first two years of college, when I was younger and less knowledgable about what I wanted to do.
I think the most frustrating thing is the control of traffic in the hallways. Because there are so many students that attend the school, it's hard to get to classes on time due to the crowded hallways.
A fair amount of the kids at my school unfortunately seem uninterested in anything but their own personal means. For instance, ask them a recent history question... say, something about the 9/11 tragedy which occured not too long ago-and for the most part, they has no idea how (or why) its actions have affected us immensely, as well as the rest of the world.
The amount of students.
The most frustrating thing about my school is the computer labs, they are always packed. I have to wait up to an hour just to use a computer.
