There are a number of sororities and fraternities at QC, and each of them are into different things. My friend's sorority focuses on charity, but they still have their share of parties. As far as I know, the fraternities are really into on- and off- campus parties. I hear about them sort of often in passing, but I've never been to one. Still, it's a side activity. Frats don't disrupt the daily functioning of the college or anything. It's still a commuter campus and a lot of people go to work after class.
I'm not the sorority type of person... But those who are part of it seem to really enjoy. Other than them being really loud, I don't know much more about that.
