New York City is famously known for its diverse population in regard to ethinic/racial backgrounds, religion and sexual orientation. Queens is nationally recognized as the most diverse borough in NYC. A person who is uncomfortable with interacting with students of different origins is not a good candidate for QC. Part of what makes the campus so enriching is its students. Every student brings something new to the table and contributes to its positively building environment. If the possible student is closed off and narrow minded to the cultures of others, than QC is defintely not a good fit.

The kind of person who should not attened this school is someone who wishes to be involed within the campus and wishes to have a lot of friends. The school reminds me of high school- you go to class and you leave- if you were not involed with clubs or sports.

For the individual who would like to attend a school in a more rural area, this school may not be for them because it is located in an urban/city area .

I don't think there is any type of specific person that shouldn't attend the school, but if I had to choose I would say somebody that wants to go to a school in a more suburban area, or someone that wants to live on campus because allthough the school does have a campus it is new and not very large and most students that attend Queens College simply commute everyday instead of dorming.
