CUNY Queens College Top Questions

Some majors required too much work or credits to finish off on time. Some students have goals to finish their degree in 4 years but because of department demands, this does not always happen.

So far it has been only three and half months in Queens College that i am attenting. i can't name anything that i would hate in that school because i didn't get to know everything about it. Although, i think that it gives enought resources for students according to the tuition.

I do not find anything worse about my school to complain about due to my experience in this school. In addition, it has served be extremely well in a variety of ways. For instance, academically there are a lot of good professors who are caring. On the other hand, there are always convenient technology access and recreational services as well. Therefore, nothing bad about my school at all.

The worst thing about the school was that I realized later, I was not taught how to learn. Most of the work was rote memorization and did not give one tools to grow intellectually when the program ended. The class I enjoyed most was Psychology and Literature because it at least gave us an opportunity to understand people more deeply in real life situations. I wanted to be excited about what I was learning. I am a published poet now and a major poet whose name escapes me said: "No excitement from the poet, no excitement in the reader."

What I consider to be the worst thing about my school is the lack of inspiration here. Because there isn't much school spirit there isn't much to be enthusiastic about while you are attending college. The time you spend on campus is time you have to spend on campus. There aren't many students, who don't live on campus, that choose to spend time other then class time on campus.

The worst thing about CUNY Queens College is that they don't have enough specific courses within a subject. For example, Human Sexuality has plenty of sub topics, but here, only Gender and Family have it's own classes.

I think the worst thing about my school is that it seems to not aknowledgge its connection to NYC as much as it should.

There really isn't anything that I dislike about the the school.
