The nice and helpful nature of some of the people at Dallas Baptist University. I love the fact that I feel like I can get help with things that I have questions on. I love the fact that I do not have to be afraid to ask questions about a certain matter. In addition, I love the fact that the people are open and want me to come to them whenever I need help. Furthermore, coupled with their helpfulness, I love the fact that they are nice when answering my questions too.
The best thing about my school is the emphasis on a Christ-centered education. The faculty and staff not only try to help us grow academically but they also try to help us grow spiritually by integrating faith-based learning into our academic curriculums. Attending Dallas Baptist University has helped me grow so much spiritually and strengthen my resolve to do all things to glorify Christ, including bettering my grades in order to academically advance myself in life.
The best thing about my school is the diversity. We have a very high number of international students and there are many opportunities to learn about different cultures and religions. Our school even takes trips that give us a chance to see where these people are coming from. Despite the apparent differences in people, there is a unity that can be found here that is explained only by the presence of God on our campus.
The quality of professors and the discussions in class. It is so nice to be able to talk about things that you are thinking and to have feedback from your professors and peers. The professors are all very understanding and willing to help you when you need it, and give you advice. The group of friends I have made while here has been amazing, and they will be friends I keep forever.
At DBU they put the student and their academic and spiritual welfare first. They care whether you are comfortable and want you to feel at home on the campus. They become your family at DBU, because that is what your family does, puts your welfare and how you feel first.
DBU has many wonderful attributes, but if I had to choose the one that is most important to me , it would be that the campus is filled with really nice people and I know that I will leave here with many lifelong friendships thanks to my time on this campus.
The best thing about my school would be the amount of friendly faces. Right off the bat, freshman get to attend SWAT week, where they can meet lots of new people, and it's a very excellent way to make friends at the school.
Sevant Leadership is a priority at DBU. It is the one thing you will leave the school with no matter how long you have attended. It is also what prepares its students for life more than anything else they will learn.
The best thing about DBU is that ALL of the staff there go out of their way to help in any situation. I have never seen a more helpful group of people than the group they have on staff at DBU.
The best things about DBU are the people--students and teachers really care about one another and are willing to help and grow alongside one another.
