I wish that I had better prepared myself for the college classes. I wish that I hadnt let myself become so intimidated about being back in school after nearly ten years, and instead had done better research and prepared myself. I feel that once I was able to relax and once I understood that going to college was not going to be as scary or as impossible as I had built it to be in my imagination, that I was able to start to enjoy the classes.

I never studied in high school, but I was a straight A student. I put forth the effort and paid attention in class, but I never had to "really study", every thing came so naturally. Unfortunately, I wish high school had been more challeging, because I did not have great study habits or skills coming into college. Now I am learning the material at the same time I am establishing good study skills and habits.

I wish I would have known that I had to take and complete chemistry and anatomy before I could get into the Dental Hygiene Program.

I wish I had known that I was going to get caught up in the "college days". It's college so of course you want to have fun like you see in the movies, but you have to stay focused. Self-discipline is the only way to get where you're going. It's out of Mom and Dads hands.

I wish I had known before I came to this school is how much the classes cost.
