Davidson is a great school. However, it should be reserved for those willing to work very hard. The heavy work load still permits you to have fun on the weekends. You will be proud that you are having to work hard unlike other joke schools, such as Wake Forest.

the environmental policy is atrocious-- we need to be allowed to have kegs on campus only because of how many solo cups/aluminum cans they'll save. we need recycling bins AT PARTIES to save the cans that people toss everywhere.

Davidson is a very tough school but has many great opportunities. A student will enjoy their experience if they can work hard but learn to balance their time between work and play. Almost every Davidson student or Alumni take a great sense of pride in their school because it is such an academically tough school.

Davidson is a great place. Yes, students work extremely hard but in the end there are so many opportunities and connections here that it is hard not to love it.

I have never locked my door and often leave my computer unattended in the library. The strength and presence of the honor code holds true. It may be most evident in the self-scheduled exams.

i really really do love davidson. it's often a stressful place, but the sense of community, support and respect that is ever present on campus makes it all worth it. i am so so proud to go to school here and have tons of respect for everyone affiliated with the school. although i am far from home, davidson was really the perfect campus for me. one of the only things that i dislike about the school, mainly academics, is the often intense, competitive nature of the students. sometimes, it would be much nicer for no one to talk about grades or how much MORE work they have than everyone else or who's dating who's ex-boyfriend. sometimes, it's ridiculous. that is probably at every college though, just magnified here because of the small student body (something i would never like to give up!!) i love my school!

Its a great place.

The Honor Code is really strong on campus, and students can schedule their own exams, and feel confident about leaving computers and ipods sitting in the library while they run to the Union for a snack.

I have bitched and complained for a lot of my Davidson "career" (and make no mistakes folks, thats what it is) but i have LOVED every minute of it. I have made wonderful friends, I have learned a ton, and i still got to experience "COLLAAAGE!" not to mention we have a kick-ass basketball team... PS - GO CATS!!

The administration seems to have become the fun police in recent years. Favorite passtimes include kicking fraternities off campus for offenses that no "real college" would deem even slightly offensive; calling kids on honor code violation for little drunken accidents; threatening to abolish areas of off-campus housing because irate little men call the cops with noise complaints over groups of girls listening to music in their apartment together; stationing police at an apartment complex notorious for having parties so that they can ID people as they approach...

Davidson is the best place on earth.
