I think this a great and affordable option for schooling. The professors are amazing, caring, and very detail orientated. Delaware County Community College also provides you with all the resources and classes to accomplish those associate's and bachelor's degrees. The campus is also beautiful and updated. I use to have this negative perception of community colleges but Delaware Community College has totally changed my perspective.
It is a great affordable option for students who want to eventually transfer to another school. Class size is usually small so teachers are pretty accessible. DCCC also offers a variety of classes for students from automotive to culinary arts, etc.
I really like Delaware County Community College. The professors are nice and helpful. There are many advisors who are always willing to help. I also see it as a great opportunity to begin a college degree in a more financially stable way. It is great to take general education classes and take classes in an affordable manner.
Overall its a great school! The teachers are all very supportive and are there to help, and with small class sizes it helps everyone build better bonds. As an Art major, I feel the teachers help build essential skills and a strong portfolio. The cost of this college is affordable and amazing for the price.

If the advisors in HS actually cared and gave the correct advice, I would of known how to apply for grants and scholarships instead of being insanely in debt.
My classesmates all seemed to keep to themselves; most of them were not interested in making friends with people from their classes.
I think the worst thing about my school is that the classes get filled up fairly quickly. If you want to schedule your classes for the next semester you have to do it at the start of signup to get the classes you want.
Someone who is not sure if college is right for them .
I think the number of available courses online is pretty awesome because I don't know one person who attends DCCC that doesn't have to juggle a number of other things like work or children. This gives the option to even people like me to go back to school and pursue a dream and still be able to pay my mortgage.
There isn't anything that surprised me when I came to this school. I pretty much expected everything that I discovered. However, I was caught off guard by how polite the staff was, and by how willing to help you they are with anything and everything. I had previously attended Del-tech and, truthfully, some of the staff there weren't as caring and helpful. I also had a problem with them when I had my thyroid cancer.
Convenient Locations in Delaware County, excellent academic programs, in nursing, liberal arts, computers and transfer opportunities. State of the art resouces and selection of course schedules. There are plenty of options for academic help if needed.
What makes my school unique is the diversity it offers. It has a rich cultural background and is opening to people of all backgrounds, races, age, gender, and orientation. No one will ever feel as though they are alone or don't fit in because they are different. The most important part about this diversity is that it is celebrated, no one feels judged for being different. We don't box people into stero types, instead we embrace what makes us different.
No one should attend any institution of higher education that is not serious about learning and advancing their skill set. You have to be committed to education, the study and hard work required to graduate. If you are looking for the full campus experience such as living on campus, fraternities and sororities experience that is not found at a 2 year community college.
This doesn't apply me because my school has everything to help achieve my goal.
This school prepares you for entry level positions for the program you complete, while attending you have access to the best stat-of-the-art support and resources available.
It a good school that doesn't cost much money
Very good
I not really sure because all the activities of students at this school is popular
None
I tell everyone that at DCCC it's never an issue to get the class you need at the time you need at the location you need...which is huge when you are a full-time employed student like me.
