Okay school. Would not recommend to a friend. Staff in financial aid office make it so hard to get financial aid. Attended the school for 4 year however would have finished in 2 years if it wasn't so hard to get financial aid.
My overall opinion is that the school is more affordable than most colleges and has some really good teachers but I suggest using rate my teacher, some teachers are undergrad teachers, who aren't great at the teaching students who don't immediately get the work.
my over all opinion od Delaware technical community college -Stanton Wilmington like its a great school and they have a lot of choice that I am interesting in that I would like to make my major like early child hood development.
I feel like I had a great educational experience at Del Tech. I do wish Soccer was available to play while I was there. I did get the opportunity to help in the design of the main courtyard, which was finished in the summer of 2016, after I graduated.

If I could go back in time to talk to myself as a senior I would start off by telling myself how important it is to attend college right after highschool. It is important to me because I realize the two year gap that I took has effected my studies. This would have helped sustain the knowledge that was taught to me by my teachers and peers to become a better role model for my family.I will maintain a daily routine that would keep me focus and determine to achieve my goals. Which is to become an elementry school teacher that gives me the chance to make an impact on my future.Being prepared is another important factor . For example taking the necessary steps such as speaking to your counselor, taking your SATS, Applying to colleges, and finacial aid. In my opinion the most important step is being ambitious. You must believe that you can obtain anything you put your mind and efforts towards. Having that mindset to adapt to an upcoming transition in your life. In conclusion if I could have gone back in time this is what I would have done to prepare myself for college.
I wish I would have understood how scheduling classes worked. I was thrown into some classes that I really did not agree with, but i did not fight for it. So i was stuck with what was given to me.
DelTech Community College students are extremely varied: you get students that are older, younger, graduates taking more classes for personal growth, and first time college students; there's always a lot to learn from the classmates.
The best thing about my school is that I can choose my class time so it doesnt interfere with my work schedule. Job is really important to me because I need money to pay my tution fee and cost of books. And another best thing i like about my school is that the technology it has. Blackboard is software where I can check notes, if i miss a class, or check homeworks, easy to communicate with teacher. I enjoy going to Del Tech.
The worst thing about this school is the lack of activity during the evenings and weekends.
my school provides me with the tools i need to become successful in my near future by preparing me for the working world.
DTCC is very flexible and accomodates its students, as many of them are very busy and active outside of the classroom. They provide services that help their students balance work life, attending and succeeding in school, and their home life as well. It's very comforting to know their staff cares about its students that much.
A determined person who wants to succeed in life . A person who believes they can achieve any goal they put their mind too. A person who will never give up on thier dreams and goals. A person who wants to make a change in thier life and become somebody. A person who never quits and that knows no goal is to big to achieve as long as you try your best give it your all and never give up .
The great teachers and employees that are always willing to go the extra mile to help you with anything.
For a student who works as well as goes to school, the campus bookstores can be very frustrating. My advice would be to make sure you check online for any information you may need to get your books, call ahead to make sure they are open, and ALWAYS bring your schedule and college ID with you.
My school is best known for helping students achieve thier goals no matter what. It helps you overcome your obstacles that is standing in your way. They let us know that our dreams our never too big for us.
You get a great bang for your buck. The campus is very diverse. Its a good size campus. When I tell people i go there, there's no extreme reaction. The best thing about this school is that the teachers genuinely care about your education.
There really is not anyone that should not attend a community college. It saves money, and you get the same education except on a more one on one basis. I think everyone should give this a shot, and maybe the university will lower their tuition so transfering would be easy and cost less
