DePaul University Top Questions

What is your overall opinion of this school?

I love how DePaul is not just another school in a cornfield where everyone looks the same. DePaul has two campuses in Chicago, one in Lincoln Park and another in the Loop. The city provides students with so many opportunities. I don't like the process of registering for classes. That could be because I am a freshman and I don't get the first pick of classes. For me, DePaul's size is just right. The student population is definitely big enough to meet new people every day, but the campus is concentrated enough so that you will always see someone you know when you are out walking. It takes a maximum of 15 minutes to walk from one end of the Lincoln Park campus to the other. When people hear I go to DePaul, they always ask me how I like it in the city. I spend a lot of time at the Student Center, my dorm, and the Bean Cafe in the SAC. College town? Try City! Chicago is amazing, there's always something going on. There are so many opportunities for students when it comes to activities and internships. The CTA and your U- Pass are your best friends if you like to explore. The biggest controversy is probably the one about Professor Finkelstein. People have school pride, but when it comes to sports, there's a dedicated group who goes to most of the home games.

It's in Chicago. I met Jess. I would change it so it's not a four year college because four years seems like too long. Just right. Oh. CTI building, I'm boring. What college town? I hear they do good work. There was that one teacher... Doesn't seem to be in the CTI building. Nope. Meeting Jess. Homework.

I love that DePaul is in Chicago because there is always something to do. It's hard for me to think of something to change about DePaul because I like the University a lot. I think that we are a medium sized school and it's just right for me. I spend most of my time on campus in my apartment because I have so much work to do, being in the commerce college. I think that the Administration at DePaul does not think when they make decisions like this new rule that they made this past year about only freshmen adn sophomores living on campus. Big mistake! There is no school rpide because I truly think that since we do not have a stadium on campus, its hard for people to get all psyched up for games, and there are no cool parties/functions that promote school spirit.
