The teachers are all very kind and caring. I think the teachers seem to be more involved in making you learn the materials and make an effort to devote their time to those who need it.
Best thing about Diablo Valley College is the diversity. It is really good to see a mixture of age, race, culture, ethnicity, and religion. We, as students come together as one to better ourselves. We all have the drive to learn and educate ourselves for a better tomorrow. Besides improving our minds in our general study course at the school, we also improve our minds to learn from the diverse people that share the same hopes, goals, and dreams. Diablo Valley College is best know for an outstanding education in an exceptional diverse environment.
What I like the most is that they have many resources for pretty much anything. Financial aid, counsling, work, student services, and those are just to name a few. Anywhere you go to ask for information that are very helpful and knowledgeable. If for some reason they do not know the answer to your question, they know who to send you to in order to get your question answered. I can honestly say that this has happend to me many times and I have always been happy with the outcome.
