The worst thing about my school is by far the constant raising of tuition. And I know this is likely a common complaint. However, it has recently been revealed that our school has $2,000,000+ saved in several accounts, which they do nothing with. And yet, every year, they raise the tuition by at least $2,000. The accounts have been sitting steady for years now, and my university is in the top ten schools with the most saved money in the country. It's making it exceedingly harder for students to attend--I myself am struggling to pay for my upcoming sophomore year.

The lack of offical student organizations is Doane College's major down fall. Many of the on campus groups are not recognised as organizations outside of the Doane College community.

Sometimes I wish that Doane didn't give me the opportunity to get involved so much. I participate in so many activities that sometimes I wish I had more time to myself. At the end of the day though, I love all of the music ensembles, Student Congress, and my sorority so much that I wouldn't give it up for anything. Still I hate that I'm so busy.
