A person who is not self motivated.
The person looking for an electrifying social scene should not attend Dominican University. This is a small, quiet school that respects its Catholic heritage, and is known for the close friendships that knit the university together. It is not for the person who is looking for the bustle of a more conventional university.
Someone who is unwilling to take challenges and risks should not attend this school. If you are not ready to open your mind to new ideas and ways of thinking, then this is not the school for you. No lazy people need apply--you will work hard and study hard at this school. Be prepared to challenge yourself and the status quo.
A person who shouldn't attend Dominican would be someone who doesn't want to work hard and be tested in all areas. Someone who doesn't only want to party every single night but get their homework done.
Someone who wants to party all the time.
Some one who loves to party
someone who wants to do greek life
If the student is only interested in having a good time, drinking and partying alot, or just enjoying the college experience without being school focused, then this school is not for you. Also if you are a big football or basketball fan, this school is not for you. This school does not have a football team, soccer and baseball are the main sport here.
If one likes to have fun and party, then this is not a school for them. Dominican University is not a big school, therefore most/all ilegal actions will be acted up on. Weekends are also pretty quiet on campus! If one is looking for a big campus where classes contain more that 50 students then this school is also not for them.
Anyone is welcome at Dominican University. There, we welcome people of different color, shape, size, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc. In fact, we are proud to be part of a diverse environment.
