Where is the best place to get work done on campus?

Rachel

I think it depends on your work ethic and how you study best. For me, I would rather work in my apartment because I get distracted easily when I am around other people. However, a lot of students do study in the library. It gets especially busy in there around midterms and finals, and sometimes can be hard to find a seat.

In my opinion, the best place to get work is either at home or in the library. If you are at home, you are in your own domain. You can work according to your pace under your ideal work conditions. For me, this might be working at my desk or sprawled on the couch with my laptop. If I'm not working at home, I'll probably be studying at the library. There are plenty of areas around the library on multiple floors to get work done. They have tables, chairs, computer labs, quiet areas, and private study rooms. I like to reserve a study room for me and a friend or two and spend a couple of hours in there. You are able to shut the door and better focus on the task at hand. Drexel recently added a second study library under one of their residence halls for additional study areas. It is very practical and open for group studying. There are always students utilizing this space. Along with these study areas, there are plenty of other small areas around campus where you are get work done.
