Dutchess is full of a lot of kids from the city. It has that type of vibe to it. The majority is local though. The school does have alot of problems when it comes to their students. At times it can b dangerous if you are at th wrong place at the wrong time. So far I've made it through though.
Most of my classmates are young, rambunctions, and completely irresponsible; but once in a while I find someone who's in the same boat I'm in and it feels good to know there are others around.
I would consider most of my fellow classmates to be determined. Of the ones I've gotten to know over the past year and a half, many of them drive from great distances to go to Dutchess and those who can't, take classes online. Determination is the key to any successful career and is, essentially, the most important part in feeling pride in one's profession. Whether it be Business ownership, Management, or Accounting, all of the students in the Business program that I've met have an outstanding sense of determination that will help them succeed in life.
my classmates were very interesting, some were wierd and many were funny and i enjoyed the time spent with them during the fall semester.
