The teaching and nursing programs. They're especially successful with preparing students in those programs for their future.

I am a buisness major. I think that this "school of buEsiness" is really good because there are many successful people that have gone here. My mother is a registered nurse, that "school of nursing" is VERY hard to get into and many successful nurses have graduated from there. Education and learning are very important to ECU.

Our school would most likely be best known for it's "small town" feel to it, and that all of the classes have less than 40 students, and East Central is very teacher-student friendly. So, us as students get a better education in that we can ask questions and we can get responses from our Professors.

What is the best thing East Central University is known for? That's a great question... Although i am a semi new student here at ECU i have recognized a few things that set this school apart in comparison to the previous school i attended Oklahoma City. I would have to say the number one thing that ECU is know for is the nice people. Everyone here is friendly and open to conversation. Socially it's a very open atmosphere in reguards to meeting new people and making new friends on campus.

Noelle

for the love of the campus, and our go get it attitude

My school is best-known in the business world for its Cartography department. For as big of a deal as it is, it is amazing that more people in the community do not know about it. They have one of the MOST ADVANCED labs in the nation, which is paid for by Devon Energy who hires about half of the graduates straight out of the bachellors degree program. There is nothing in the state to compare to it, and few programs in the nation can claim such an amazing success rate.

Naomi
