East Georgia State college is an in-between school. Most people attend East Georgia to save money on their first two years of college and then transfer to their desired university after that. Most students are local and unconcerned to make new friends. Professors are hit and miss. Administration is acceptable, but not outstanding. Overall, the school serves it's purpose: to provide cheap education and help your GPA until you can get where you actually want to go.
Overall, East Georgia State College is a wonderful College. I have learned so much from my school in the past year and I just loving attending it! The professors are always willing to help you succeed and the students there are always so friendly. You are never lonesome at East Georgia, but rather well taken care of by the people surrounding you daily.
I feel like East Georgia State college is a great college for beginning young adults who are just getting out of high school and trying to figure out what they still want to do with their lives. It is a great start to taking general classes about the first two years then maybe transferring over to a university or finishing their major at the state college. It is an great environment to be in and the people around us are pretty pleasant.
They are an amazing school with great professors and friends. I love it and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. I am going to play softball there starting in August and I can’t wait to get my feet on the field. I will be making many knew friends and also coaches who are willing to take the time with you and make sure everything’s right.

I would tell my senior self many things. I would advise her to choose East Georgia instead of Georgia Southern. I would also explain to her how important studying really is and that college is way different than high school. I would tell her she would have a lot of fun, however she would need to have fun only on the weekends, and not every night. I am glad that looking back now, I have changed and matured a lot as a person. I think that I am doing a lot better in school now than I ever had.
It's only a 2 year school.
I would say my school is close knit.
My school is best know for being a college that you can go for a couple of years then trasfer to a different college and most if not all of your credits transfer.
I think this school is great for everyone. This school gives everyone the opportunity to learn and grow. The classes are a smaller size so teachers and students can really connect with each other.
