Overall, I love it there because of the transportation, locations are very convenient, and I basically did well in that school. I would really love to stay there if I was given the opportunity. Plus, I even had my former writing professor help me with my biography that I'm currently working on as we speak
EMCC is a small campus with a low student to teacher ration, however they do not offer many extracurricular activities. We do not have any sports teams at all and the student senate seems nonexistent (I'm actually not positive that there is one). Although the academics are okay, it's not a great place to make new friends or spend more time than you have to on campus. On top of that, the library consists of 1 floor of a building and there are almost no quiet places on campus available to study.
Eastern Maine Community College offers opportunities to learn both on and off campus. Many of my classes happen on the side of cliffs, or on roaring rivers. Not many programs offer such an amazing experiential education, and EMCC offers one of those programs. The class sizes for my program are a maximum of 16 students, but rarely exceeds 10. If you want an affordable, experience oriented, and fun college to attend I can't think of a better place.
I love Eastern Maine Community College and have been going here for about four years. They have online classes and they work with my schedule and allow me to go to school part-time while I’m working full-time. The staff and faculty are very friendly.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Eastern Maine Community College is 100%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
I would tell myself that I'm smarted than I thought and to apply myself more. Don't let the family tell you that you can't do it or that there are no funds. Enjoy life and don't let what happened in the past hold you down. Make mistakes, don't be afraid of what people think, and follow your dreams.
A small, very supportive community college with a very awesome and diverse student body.
All of my classmates are ambious and goal oriented.
The success of all of its students.
A non motivated person should not attend this school. If you are not friendly and willing to meet new people of any age you should not come to this school. If you do not want to get the extra help from either other students or teachers dont come here. If you do not want to succed do not come here.
this was the only school i considered
How much more expensive residential life could be, but also how much easier it is to live on campus when you don't have your own car.
The financial aid here can be a bit of a pain to deal with. We have started the semester and some students don't even have their books because their financial aid has not come in yet. Some students who applied for workstudy have been told that they will not be elligable for it this year. These students don't presently have another source of income.
A person who is ready to earn a degree and or move on to a university. A person who seeks help and finds it. A person of any age group will do fine in this school. A motivated person some one who will not give up and push through.
I brag most about my Automotive instrutors. They are master level techs with different backgrounds. They are experienced and committed to teaching the class in a fun and intresting manner..

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
