This is a very small school, so a lot of the students have ither gone to the same high school or know each other. It can be clicky. The dorms are all old and need a refresh, The sports are ok but not great by any means. The food is not good at all and not worth the money that is required to pay for it. I am leaving after one year as are a lot of people that I know. I thought that this school would have more of a family atmosphere it does not. I am sure that some people are happy here but I was not.

Eastern Nazarene College is a very small school and students tend to create cliques. Christian faith is fostered at this school through campus policies and weekly Chapel sessions. Sports are very popular with a good reputation, including basketball, soccer, tennis, baseball, and many more. There are many clubs and part-time job opportunities available for students. The library is open from 7:00 am-12:00 am, suitable for all student's schedules. The workload is rigorous and academics are taken very seriously here. One thing that really stands out about Eastern Nazarene College is the opportunity to conduct a research project and required internships, which enhances skills after graduation. The social life may not as lively as other schools, but the academics are a great reason to attend this college

Its a great private college has a small class size which helps so that the professor actually gets to know you and I find it easier to learn in smaller class size. Their academics are really good especially for social work majors because they have an accelerated program. Overall it depends on the student but I find it a good school especially for me.

So far I'm only a freshmen, but I have taken a good amount of classes. The teachers care a whole lot about our grades, and they wanna make sure we are doing well. I really love it here, the people and the students are great! It's very diverse, I love how we are all about community, and my classes are so interesting.

    Some one who wants to party and doesn't care about school. Youll probably just get kicked out. Anyone extremely bothered by conservatives, or the conservative christian religion. Sorry no dancing now, but thats changing.

    It was smaller and more personalized. My classes are small enough that we can all get individualized attention from the professor when we need it and get the help we need. You know that if you show you will put in the effort, you know that they will meet you halfway and help you however they can.

  12. What do you brag about most when you tell your friends about your school?

    The faculty and class size. Without a doubt the most helpful and caring group of people I have ever met. They care about how you are doing and offer support and assistance in any way they can. You actually build a relationship with them rather than simply going to a class and listening. The classes are small and teachers are so compassionate everything becomes more personal and the education experience feels much more significant.

  13. What do you consider the worst thing about your school? Why?

    The only complaint regards the timing to schedule club meetings. Timing can be off in terms of club meetings. Faculty, staff, and professors willingly move along the students clubs. Some clubs will be formed and then disbanded. Other clubs go on a hiatus due to said issues, without anyone taking the lead to carry on the club. Some of the dates for meeting need to be pre-planned in order to flow with the students schedules or meet the time required. Other than this, there are few issues in the school.

    The most popular I would have to say would be soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and then our chapel teams that lead worship.

TUITION & AID

All students must apply yearly for financial aid. This process starts with the FAFSA. Though financial aid deadlines vary by school, it is a good idea to apply as soon as possible. For the upcoming school year, you can apply as early as October 1 for the FAFSA. Additional school aid will be dependent on the FAFSA results.
