I knew a lot since my brother attended ECC as well before transferring to a four-year university

I wish I had known that there are some challenging classes and teachers at a community college and I can't just slack off because it is a community college. I wish I had known how different the environment is from a 4-year school and how it is hard to balance school, work, friends, and family.

How different the interactions between teachers and students would be. In high school everything was soft and very nice, but in college there isnt nothing like that. I feel that it has greatly helped me as a student progressing into a better student and a adult.

How much classes and books are. This was something that I needed to be prepare for before attending ECC. It's less than university, but at the same time, it's a bit of a stretch moneywise.
