The Embry Riddle community is similiar to a family. All the student come together to help each other succeed in life and in school. Classes are small to help create ties and greater understanding of the class subject. There are many clubs are organizations where everyone will have a voice in the community.

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University lacks in female population. There is only a 20{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} female ratio on campus. Its difficult to push math and sciences to women in high school when there isn't many here. Also, Embry-Riddle is very limited in the scope of what they cover, making a more in-depth and rigorous course study. The complexity of the majors ERAU has to offer make it a great school for people who know what they want to do.

Waist of time, money, and no opportunity after school. All my friends who have tried desperately to get a pilot job somewhere are either out of work or working for Home Depot. Me personally: I was hired flying RJ's and was getting paid 16,000 and working the worst shifts imaginable! I spent my 13 hour days waiting at the airport and flying to towns far away from where I wanted to be. I would literally be getting paid more working at McDonalds! Its embarrassing and unfortunate that the school still thinks that becoming a pilot is like it was 20 years ago. SO basically, if you can find a time machine and go back 20 years when pilots actually made money then I would recommend this school. If not then DO NOT GO!!!

What makes my school unique is the fact that you can start class during any month. You don't have to wait until the begining of a semester to begin. If you are ready to start, then you can start right away.

This school is geared especiallyfor aeronautical and astonautical studies including engineering and flight majors. Embry-Riddle is a smaller private institution, which is what I have been used to all my life. With smaller class sizes and more time with professors, each student is known by a name and face, unlike larger schools where everyone is just a number.

The cost to attend this school is very high, and would not be worth it unless each person truly loved what they were studying here. One of the qualities that make this school unique is that the students and instructors are very passionate about what they are learning and teaching. Also because the school is so specialized, most students are learning different aspects of similar fields. This brings the school more school sprit and a feeling of community.

The school is very small and yet has a lot of labs and facilities, so there's only a small chance of having to fight over equipment use. The classes are very small, only a handful of classes have more than 20 students in them, and there are enough sections for everyone to still take the classes they need for each semester. The faculty know the students by name, so it is very easy to ask for assistance in classes.
