What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?


I wish someone told me how small the school really is. I knew the numbers and everything, I just didn't expect it to be so small.


Before stepping foot onto Embry-Riddle's doorstep, it would have been very nice to understand a little more about the campus layout and the history behind it.


Finals are always on Saturday. Not a handicap friendly campus. Disability center people nice. Don't go to advisers, they are no help at all, go to the department head of your degree instead. If you join ROTC school is free.


How hard the work really is.


I wish I had known that the school was very conservative and did not have a very active social life. I find it really hard to make friends here given the strong differences in beliefs and interests.


I wish I had known about it sooner so I hadn't wasted two years at another university.


I wish I had known how intense the Space Physics program was going to be. I don't think it would have changed my decision, but I might have been better prepared for the lack of free time and labs.


It isn't particular to this school, but just the way colleges do work and have classes. They are very different from high school


I wish I had known how bad mess hall food is and that I had brought more cook books with me to college.


I wish i would have known how much exactly the entire program was going to cost me, and i could have prepared better finacially.


Not to come. The social life, if you don't drink, is terrible.

I wish that I had spent more time in high school working on my study habits. It was possible in high school to do well without working hard, but if you try that in college, especially here, you get behind.
