Embry Riddle has been a stand up school that I would recommend to anyone interested in aviation. They have great professors and staff to assist in helping students. Further, the school is very veteran friendly! The classes seem well organized and I have learned lots since starting. I would highly recommend!
I love it. The professors take their time to explain the assignments in class, and so far I've learned so much already. I enjoy my classes, and I'm always well informed as to what events are going on outside of the classroom. I also like that the academic counselors are helpful, and that there are plenty of resources for paying for college, tutoring outside of the classroom if it's needed, job opportunities, and more.
The online program is very accommodating, where interaction between the faculty and students are in real time with options to take classes in different time zones. In my opinion, the adjunct faculty brings real-world experience to the classroom as well as trends and norms.
Embry Riddle Worldwide is an online campus only. Many of these parameters of a typical brick and mortar school the survey has asked do not apply. The courses so far have been academically challenging, and my classmates bring intelligence to the discussions as well as a plethora of various work and life experience. The online modules are excellent as well as the software and research opportunities available to students. The professors care about what they do, and this is evident by their encouragement, communication, and consistent instruction. This has been an excellent experience as a working adult and mother. Many people in my classes are military based or are aviators and need the flexibility ERAU Worldwide offers. So far my experience has been wonderful.

Going back in time I would tell myself to attend college immediately after finishing highschool. I would also tell myself to take college very seriously and try my hardest and do my best. If I could go back in time I would be more responsible.
Eager to complete a degree. I have one classmate in English Composition and Public Speaking who started out doing horribly, but through encouragement and constructive feedback he ended the course doing very well (better than me in fact). Physics was a very interesting course as our instructor welcomed questions and we hit him with everything we could to understand the concepts behind thermodynamics, conservation of energy, and all of the other topics associated with Physics courses. Political Science was very interesting and we eagerly looked into the political situation of our country.
i have not encounetered any probloems with this school and do not see anything bad about it.
Anybody with a serious addiction such as sex, drugs, alcohol, or technology (video games mainly). The academics is very intense and requires a lot of your time for research and study. I myself have to balance study, research, and work as I am putting myself thru graduate school. People who are tired of school and just want to party, travel, work, and have fun should do so. They should get the addictions out of the way so that they can concentrate on their studies when they are ready to pursue a higher education.
Embry-Riddle is the most prestigious aviation school around.
Any person who wants to achieve a higher in the fields of aeronautical engeneering, mainteneace and business. With many different available online anyone can get a degree at his own pace.
I brag most about the convenience of online classes and the flexibility of teammates & the facilitator. I also brag about being able to complete assignments more-so at my own pace, instead of following an in-residence classroom structure. I also talk about how easy it is for students and enrollment advisors to get along. I recall stopping by my advisor's office to say hello every time I was in that section. Advisor-Personnel take the opportunity to get to know all students by name, and they take the time to do periodic check-ups on all students.
Embry and Riddle Aeronautical University is known for protecting the civilian skies. This is accomplished with the production of world class students specializing in aeronuatical studies covering the every aspect of the aviation world.
It's the top Aeronautic University in the U.S.
The distance I have to drive to get to their satellite campus about 130 miles one way.
