I think my school is best known for the highly artistic and insightful individuals. Emerson is a well recognized college in the entertainment and art community, and students that graduate from here are highly sought after. This is a fact that I am proud of and pleased to get to study here.
Emerson is best known for its quality programs -- their majors in Film and Performing Arts espeically. There is a level of professionalism between students and faculty as well, that encourages Emerson's professional environment. Emerson has a reputation for sending its graduates into the real world with very real job offers and prospects that can't be found anywhere else.
Being the best at what they do.
Best known for filmmaking, radio station, writing programs, and communications focus
The extra-curricular activities. Film and Acting programs. It's libral perpective. The "hipster" students.
Emerson College is a great school for the arts. It is in the heart of Boston and students benifit from the culture and life of the city. It is important to get involved with projects outside of class and it's cool that credit can be recieved for that participation. Media and film courses are excellent and their is everything imaginable for a student to learn from: a radio station, tv programs, film projects, the list goes on. t is a great school but very expensive.
denis leary, max mutchnick, and henry winkler

Famous people... we breed them. Producer of Friends, Jay Leno, Dennis Leary, THE FONZ...
Theaters an radio station
Emerson's film program is really one of the strongest in the country. Even students who aren't majoring in film can be involved in the production of all the films that are made each semester. Film students get to use a camera second semester of their freshman year, and writing students get into workshops at the same time. The hands-on nature of Emerson is great, and there's always a speaker, or some community event to go to every night of the week.
VERY liberal, people know what they want to do, artistic, not many sports, VERY open to gay, lesbian, bi, and all religions (or lack thereof), very fashionable, sometimes snobby people, a fall-back school for people who wanted to be in NYC or LA
