the kind of people that should not attend this school is a under statment. i believe everyone has a fair and equal shot at going to college long as there head and mind is ready to go to the next level in life. people should not judge a book bye its cover and give people a chance. so i think anyone who is willing and ready for college should come to essex county college and experience something new.

Essex County College has a very small and intimate atmosphere. The classroom size is similiar to the average high school classroom. Therefore, allowing the professor to have a one on one relationship with the students. Our school is also located in the business district of Newark, NJ, which means the prospective student would have to adjust to the busy lifestyle. People who would rather not experience that type of setting would not be comfortable at a community college.

Honestly I can't really think of the kind of student that wouldn't strive at Essex County College, un less you are a student who aren't going to apply yourself to your studies. If your recieving financial aid or is paying for school out-of pocket and you're not applying yourself, that just shows that you are a student who is undeserving of going anywhere for that matter because you're not taking your education seriously. And is depriving yourself of who you can become to the upmost.
