I would not discourage any "type" of person from attending this school. I believe that anyone could attend this school and if anyone could attend this school, they should. As long as the person is willing to work, Fairfield University has a place for them. No matter what disabilities someone has, Fairfield University is an accommodating institution where it is possible for anyone to excel.

Kirk

Partying

If you like snow, then go elsewheres... The social networking is a bit interesting and complicated, if you wanted to make friends easily and not soically experienced you may want to find another university. There are sometimes much older students in the school due to the University college so if your not used to this, it may not be a great fit, but they do bring something to the classroom.

Tiffany

The type of person that should not attend Fairfield University is the person that is looking for a party. Fairfield University is not a party school since it focuses more on academics. However, there are several social events that provides students to interact. These events are based to better the community.

Thomas

Outgoing people who like to give back to the community but also serious students in getting good grades to secure internships and job offering right out of college.

Brittani

People who are anti social, do not take school seriously, and do not like to be around alcohol.

Jonas

I'm not sure if I should say this, because I want the school to have a more diverse population, but as an openly gay student here I have felt alone, and even sometimes under attack. Virtually no one here is "out" about their sexuality, and most gay students here live underground lives. Most openly gay students end up transferring.

Melissa

There is no such thing as someone who should not or does not belong to to a school. If you are open to new experiences you should attend this school.

Jillian

Anyone who is pesimistic and turned off by happy, upbeat people. I think that Fairfield consists of a wide variety of people so almost anyone can fit in. Just like any school thought, you have to have an open mind to meeting new people and trying new things.
