It is what you’d expect out of a majority commuter school. Not large, not super homey, but it’s a nice and affordable school to get your education. Good professors. It might not traditionally be the place to get the “college experience,” but there are certainly people here also looking for it if you are. If you want Greek life or a dorm, you can find it here too. Just maybe in a smaller sense.

In terms of my opinion of farmingdale state college, I personally think Its a pretty good college, met a lot of cool interesting people and there are a good amount of events happening on campus which makes things even more fun for both me and other students on campus. The professor also seem pretty fun and are pretty good when going over the work.

Farmingdale offers a fairly local option for college students that needed to take the next step after community college, such as myself. I am not very involved in extracurricular activities at school due to work, but I know there are a multitude offered there

Michaela

I love Farmingdale. The campus is amazingly beautiful and the people are so nice. I just moved here not long ago from Ohio so I am still trying to get used to the NY life. The people in my classes have a sense of humor and are really nice. Everyone is there for one another and if we need help, there is always someone to turn to. Love being on campus.
