The best thing about Farmingdale State is the campus size as well as the student population. In addition the academics and Nursing, Aviation and Criminal Justice programs are great for students pursuing careers in these areas. The majority of the professors that teach here are great at what they do and do enjoy their job.

The best thing about Suny Farmingdale is that the students are friendly and the classes are no more then a maximum of fifty students. Professors at Farmingdale do not bore their students, they keep them involved. There is a sence of confort you can have at farmingdale.
The surrounding atmosphere..how the buildings are intergrated within its environment, also how its easy to find friends becuase your major can become a major ice breaker
The best thing I consider about this school is that it becomes a family. Although people may have their cliques, you are almost always familiar and friendly with someone else on campus may it be through class, organization, and/or just living in the same dormitory. Everybody is open to others and does not discriminate to help to one another. For example, everyone is social with one another and in the lunch room you don't have to be afraid of where to sit because everyone is inviting and friendly and you can hold a conversation and develop new friendships.
The professors are great and they work with you. Also the student life is wonderful!
Sports, education, girls.
The professors are very helpful. Most of the professors will help you outside of class time. I love that there is tutoring in every subject. The class size is just right for every class. There is a good amount of parking space available. I like the distance between the parking lots and the buildings. As a bioscience major, I am taking well-rounded courses., such as business and computer classes in addition to science and math classes.
