I found that the most unique information about this college was the fact that the majority of professors in my business management program were professionals in the courses in which they taught. For example, every accounting teacher that I had was either an accountant or had owned an accounting firm. This was similar for professors of business law, organizational behavior, international business, economics, etc.
Farmingdale state college is unique due to the fact that it's one of the largest SUNY schools. You still get the attention you need because the student-faculty ratio os 19:1. Tuition is affordable and the faculty really is helful. Farmingdale has a rule for new students and tranfers that they can't make a scheduel unless they see an advisor. Which is a great idea I think because it will keep students on track.
Farmingdale state college is unique because it is the only public school in the state to have a bachelor?s degree program for aviation major students. The staff is dedicated to having you succeed. I have also noticed that the school has close ties to government officials. For example the college recently needed money to support various projects, the state is cutting back funding to all schools. Farmingdale reached out to some officials and was granted the funds it needed. The alumni really seem to take care of their own.
It has more open options rather than my other choices. It's a really good Starter college.
It has the feeling of a smaller community college while providing the eduation and programs of a four year school.
Nothing, I find it very boring and I want to leave before I even get there.
