Farmingdale State College Top Questions

I have not started Spring classes yet, but based on what I have seen at Farmingdale State University as of yet, I have no complaints. I have dealt with Administrators at the college, in Administration, as well as in the Biology department, and have always felt that I was heard, and that I was given great respect and helpful assistance. Everyone from Admissions, to Financial Aid, to the Dean herself, and the Biology Department leaders, are professional and show true concern that I become a successful student at Farmingdale. I cannot identify a "worst thing" about Farmingdale at this time.

The school is very run down, the buildings are very old and deteriating, the cars owned by the campus are very old and beat up. the campus is very dead and drab. There isnt much to do at all on campus, the social life on campus is non-existant especially if your a commuter like 95{4a082faed443b016e84c6ea63012b481c58f64867aa2dc62fff66e22ad7dff6c} of the students at farmingdale.

The worst thing is lack of janitors, bad drinking fountains, and overpriced food.

The worst thing about the school is the lack of opportunities given for the students. I do not think that we are given the resources and the true value of education and opportunities for our money. The school does receive sufficient amount of funds to aid the students but I fail to see where the money is going. For example, the students complain that there is not alot to do on the weekends or the athletes are complaining for a new gym but yet we are continously charged a fee for these reasons and we have yet to see changes.

The worst thing would probably be the food. I'm not saying its all bad. I have only eaten at the cafeteria once- didn't like it. but the KFC and the cafe are really good. other than that, everything else is pretty good.
