I love Ferrum College and am proud to be a Panther! I love the small campus and family-like atmosphere. I am very fond of smaller class sizes and the professors who always make themselves available. I participate in sports on campus and feel very close to the coaches as well as my fellow players.
I could not have chose a better school than Ferrum. I've grown so much as a student and individual, and Ferrum is the definite reason behind that. There are a tremendous amount of opportunities for success at Ferrum, and theres always something to be involved and fall in love with.
My best decision was to attend Ferrum. The class size is very small and you get to know your classmates and professors very easily and well. The food could use some work to be better and so could the dorm halls. Should allow small pets in dorms without doctor’s note.
I loved Ferrum, it was a very beautiful campus. I hope to return in the fall. The class sizes are great and the teachers really care about your success. The overall campus support is great too most of the students attend sporting events and other extracurriculars.
The fall 2020 acceptance rate for Ferrum College is 72%. That means, out of _____ applications received in 2020 , _____ students were offered admission. The number of males who applied was _____ vs the number of females which was _____.
All my life education has been something that I felt was a privilege, especially knowing all of the people that don’t get a chance to go to school. There are so many things in this world to learn about and college opened the door to an abundance of information that I could have never learned in high school. College introduces you to the world in a way that adolescents, like myself , can understand and absorb to use as a guide for our success. Everyone says we are the future, but I don’t feel there can be a good future without institutions like colleges. College provided me with hope that maybe the world isnt so hard to take on, and it is possibble to succeed in life. College provides me with the perfect median that anyone my age would need. As a senior in high school, I was afraid to leave because I felt the world would chew me up and spit me out with no remorse. College gives me confidence through knowledge, and I feel like the world is my backyard. College showed me that you can only fail if you give up on what you want.
The type of people that should attend Ferrum are the people that are not afraid of getting dirty and know how to be leaders.
Ferrum is a small school with a lot of small things going on all the time. It is hard to say exactly what makes Ferrum known to people, but it is a school that attracts people somehow. There is an annual Folk Life festval that Ferrum is know for around that area. Thousands of people come out every year to experience the original customs of the people in the Appalachian area. I guess you can say that the natural and cultural beauty of the area is what gets people to go there.
More financial awareness of how much money we owe. We have received three different numbers.
The worst thing about the school was that there wasn't much to do when I was in school. After I left, Ferrum College was building up and providing more acitvities for the students. Adter I left more students were enrolling in the school, which provided more majors as well as providing more activities and making the school all-round better.
I brag about how well the classes are going and all of the students here.
It is a small school, which allows students to get to know each other well.
Rural quite area where athletes come to study and recive a college degree.
We are a very diverse campus with tons of school spirit
Someone who loves the city should not come to this school because it takes 30 minutes to get to a big mall.
I love the fact that the classes are small and that the atmosphere is welcoming and you rarely get that with alot of schools .
The most fustratrating thing about Ferrum College is, it is so far away from the city. I love the country but it takes 15-20 minuites to get to Walmart or a grocery store.
The small campus allows student's to get more help because classes are smaller and you get a more one on one with the professor.
