What's the one thing you wish someone had told you about freshman year?

I wish i knew that there was not a great number of off campus housing. And it is pretty hard to be eligible for off campus housing.

I came to Ferrum without any expectations because I had grown up in the same place for the past eighteen years. Although it is not a huge factor in my decision to remain at Ferrum College, I wish I had realized just how far from town the college is located. Ferrum is much different from my hometown, but I have grown to love it.
