If you arent passionate in the related fields of Fashion, Interior Design, Apparel Manufacturing just to name a few you need not apply to this school. The types of people who should not attend this school depends on there field of study, fidm is geared towards one industtry, Fashion and Arts.

The person who shouldn't attend this school is someone who does not have the drive to work hard, as well as someone who is not quite artistic.

I think a person who is into science and being a doctor should not attend this school. This school is all about Fashion and if a person is not into the fashion industry or business this is not a good school for that person to be attending. FIDM has nothing to do with the medical field, the agricultural field, or the science field. They specialize in fashion and they teach you how to make it in the industry.

If you are someone who likes big classes and doesnt like being singled out by a professor, you should not attend this school. You are asked to give alot of presentations of your materials and projects in front of the class and the teachers are always there to check on your progress. If you are attending school just for a degree and think it will be easily grasped, this isnt for you. All the hands on, and demanding scheduales wont be to your liking. However, it is very beneficial.

FIDM is an artistic career based school. To be a student here you need to love and be passionate about the fashion industry and understand and have the drive to suceed. The school offers a lot more if you use its resources and get to know everyone. If you are not determined or are onlly partially convinced you want to be in the f ashion industry than FIDM is not for you.

The type of person who should not attend this school is one without the passion, desire and ethics of hard work. FIDM challenges and pushes you to excel with high expectations and rigorous coursework. If a student does not embrace this philosophy they will not be successful at this school.

The kind of person that should not attend FIDM is the kind of person who is not passionate about art and design. It is a specialized trade school so if the school is based around a subject that does not interest you, it is not the school for you.

The person who shouldn't attend this is school someone who is not into fashion what so ever. The college is for driven students who wants to learn education through the retail/fashion industry. Any one can come learn new things on the computer and sketches but if it's not your cup of tea, don't spend $25K a year on something that doesn't interest you at all.
