My school, from my understanding is best known for its education and nursing programs. Lots of professionals in the healthcare and education industry have had some sort of undergraduate or graduate education at Fitchburg State University.

I think that alot of people that graduate from this school end up doing alot of good for the fitchburg community and have good careers in the work force.

I have heard very good things about their Biology program. Also the small classes are great. It's a very homey and comfortable place to go to school.

Communications, is one of the main programs at my school. Nursing is also a big one that many kids apply to. I decided to go because I have heard from former students that the biology department was very good at Fitchburg State, and I have not been dissapointed.

Probably its Education program. It started as a teaching school for women way back when and is known as a great school for those who want to be teachers.

My school is best know for it?s diverse faculty and small class sizes. The Communications Media department, particularly the film and video department is known throughout the country as being top in the state colleges. The college also has a top-rated nursing program that is recognized as one of the best in the state for a state college. There is a great faculty to student ratio at the college and the students are really nice to each other.
