What's unique about your campus?

My actual school is St. Johns River State College, but it wasn't on the list you've showd me. The best thing about my school is the friendly and aesthetically beautiful environment of the campus in St. Augustine. I haven't seen the other two campus yet (Orange Park and Palatka).

Kelsey

Professors and students are always willing to help out those in need and are very involved with campus life.

Chelsea

The best thing about Flagler College is the small class sizes. They are small enough not to feel lost in the crowd but large enough that class discussions can be rewarding and intersting.

Patricia

I love the fact of how small our school is because we form relationships with each other easily because we see eachother all the time.

Alyssa

The best thing about my school is that it is so small. It is great because I'm surrounded by familiar faces, and the teachers are so easy to contact if I don't happen to understand what we're doing in class, or if I just have a question.

Daphne

Flagler College has many wonderful attributes that are the reason I chose it, but the best aspect of it is definitely the community. I was hoping I would adjust to a whole new lifestyle but I never could have imagined how friendly so many people could be. As a Deaf Education major who is learning sign language, I also have the benefit of interacting with the deaf community which would be near impossible, if not impossible at any other school.

Jaclyn

Small class sizes, beautiful city, and relatively easy workload which allowed me to work full time while in school.

Kaitlyn

The best thing about Flagler College is the class room sizes are very small (20-30 students) that it allows a lot of hands-on experience. Hands-on experience is imporant, because I am able to really participate in my field of communication and get an early start in my career.

Ashley

This is the best school to go to for Deaf Education, we have a local deaf school we get to intern at. This school's academics are amazing when compared to an average state school.

Michael

The weather, who doesn't like the weather.

Brittany

The best thing about my school is the fact that the student body is only 2,500. I think that this really benefits all the students that attend because our classroom population is signicantly smaller than those found at universities. The student teacher ratio is 21 to 1. This makes the professors more accessible to students. Students have a better chance of success and a better chance of recieving a great education.

Katherine

Honestly, I love everything about this school. The professors here are absolutely top notch, and the students are just as wonderful... I talk to friends who went to UF and do nothing party and never have to go to class and realize that I'm getting a WAY better education for a good price. I can't sing Flagler's praises enough.

Katharine

The best thing about my school is it's atmosphere. When you are on campus, you are surrounded by history and beauty. Once you look past the historic beauty of our campus, you notice that our campus life is not like any other. A typical class day, you can see our campus population laying on our west lawn, throwing a frisbee, and wearing their flip flops. I would never trade this aspect about my school. It is it's greatest atribute.

William

The city life surrounding the campus. It is so colorful and engaging that I think it is what really draws students to this school.

David

The intimate connection shared between the students and the faculty. At most schools students are lucky if their faculty is actually available during their recorded office hours which are few and far between. I have casual conversation with my professors, meet with them for coffee to discuss paper topics, see them tanning at the beach, and occasionally and alkwardly run into a handful of them at the nearby clubs.

Alexandra

Location location location. Its a beautiful school close to the beach, beautiful campus, great art program as well.

Eileen

The atmosphere. The faculty and students here are very layed back and friendly. There are plenty of opportunities to get away from the classroom by engaiging in community and relaxing at the beach.

Bobbi

The dorms, the people, the teachers, and class sizes. As well as the beautiful campus.

John

The professors. Their diversity in teaching styles is obvious but their dedication is a steady constant. they're always available without having to set up meetings and they respond to emails/text/phone calls very quickly. They'll know your names within 2 weeks. They don't come to flagler to get ahead in the academic world, they come because they love their fields and love teaching it in a happy enviornment rather than a stress filled one.

Hope

The professors. The classes are small and the teachers often are willing to give individual attention if a student were to need help. It is very easy, for the most part, to reach my professors and talk to them and ask for advice about my major.

Jenni

The location.. the town of St. Augustine is beautiful and the beach is so close.
