I would not say that there are racial issues this year at my school. We have become more diverse than usual. My school is an HBCU, so we are a majority African American school, however, we have become more diversified with Caucasians, Asians, Latino's, Chinese and other ethnicity's. I do not think any student would feel out of place. In our classes, we are all like a family and get along together for one goal...to get a degree and be successful. In a dining hall, there are four tables of students. These students are of all different backgrounds. On one side, you see a table full of boys eating together talking about sports. At another table, you see a table with guys and girls who are Caucasians and African Americans. They are discussing things talked about in class. The next table consists of all African American girls talking about their upcoming plans for the weekend. And, the last table is a lot of people sitting around talking about parties. Most students at my school are from Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Atlanta, GA, and Fort Lauderdale.Students in the business department always talk about what they'll earn one day because they want to work on Wall Street and be able to go shopping and invest with their six-figure income.
