Goal-oriented students should attend this school. It is academically rigorous. It is very easy to get distracted with the beach so close, but a student that understands the value and importance of getting homework and projects done early will succeed here.

Actually I attend Keiser University in Melbourne, Florida. It was not listed in the list of schools. Attending this school or university I believe you have to be truely 110 percent dedicated to you school work. You have to take the time and effort in you work and it will pay off in your future. Although, at times it maybe difficult but you still keep your head high and stay posistive you know soon enough to come it will pay off, not only that but makes you brighter in life and be very knowledgable on things you didn't know.

This school is not for the lazy, especially if you enter into a science major. If you want a smaller environment that focuses on research and career placement after you get your undergraduate degree, then this is where you should be. If you're interested in meeting all kinds of different people from almost everywhere in America and many other countries, you'll have great opportunites. Also, though there is no football team, other sports are very competitive here, and generally do well for the conference and state competitions. And let's not forget- the beach is down the road!

Anyone who would like to follow thier dreams and do the kind of work they are really interested in rather than just excisting in a regular job. I have spoke to several people who did not know it is possible to continue their education as well as servive til it is completed.

The campus is so diverse here that anyone can attend. Yet it is crucial to be a focused determined hard worker, it isn't a walk in the park courses are challenging and require a lot of work to do well.

One of the most endearing characteristics of this school is its mix of students. Few other schools can offer such a dynamic student body: self-proclaimed computer and engineering "geeks" chilling with the surfer dudes and beach bums, locals hanging with the internationals, and flight students, psych majors, astrobiologists, physicists, and marine biologists all attending class together. There's no substitute for diversity, and though everyone here can find their own niche, no one cares to limit themselves. The one thing we all have in common: a strong work ethic., because that is an absolute requirement at Florida Tech.

People who need lots of attention from professors, hard working, need to be very focused and be able to handle a large coarse load. Someone who doesnt mind a small social life. People who most fit in are those who work well on their own and are independent thinkers, yet every once in awhile be able to handle a group project.

Smart, driven people that like to study

A person ready to work hard, not get much help from the school and doesn't care about seeing the price go up consistently.

Anyone who likes Science, Engineering or Math would do fine here.

If you are interested in technology or a science/engineering field, this school is for you. Also, the aviation school is one of the top in the country. Social life is not the best, but it can definitely be found in fraternity/sorority life and in other campus organizations. There is a place for virtually anyone.

Definately not someone who wants a huge party school. There is fun to be had, but it is a much more laid-back school. If you want to attend a really science-oriented school but still like to have fun on the weekends, Orlando is only a 40 minute drive away. But it's an absolutely wonderful school for anyone really passionate about science, I highly recomend it.

Anybody that likes to surf or the beach scene. The school offers smaller classes, so you can get to know the professors a little better. It is not a big party school, but every college has some social events and parties. The weather is never to cold, but does rain occasionally during hurricane season.

Someone who wants to be an engineer of any kind. Pretty good humanities professors surprisingly, but the focus is engineering and science.

To attend this school, a person should be very science oriented. Anyone attending Florida Tech needs to be prepared to put in many intense hours of work on top of the time required to complete assignments. Students here need to be dedicated and prepared to work more than anything else; a social life is manageable but won't be a very significant part of campus life. Also, anyone attending this school should truly enjoy their field of study because of all the research opportunities.
