Tell us about the food and dining options.

Something I know a lot about! Pantherdining has a website http://www.campusdish.com/en-us/CSS/FloridaInternationalUniv where you can check out all the places there are to eat on the campuses of FIU. I frequent the MMC campus and take advantage of Salad Creations and our convenience store Recharge U (previously known as PantherStop). FIU is also across from a sandwich place called Sarussi's as well as some other fast food stops (Wendy's, BK, Taco Bell, etc.) We do have a buffet styled dining hall called Fresh Foods, although it is not very large for a university, so most students eat off campus or in PG5 where there is a Moes, Papa Johns, and Dunkin' Doughnuts. And don't forget FIU is in Miami so we have a Pollo Tropical which has to be the most popular hang out spot for a lot of students. Overall FIU offers a nice choice of food options that are budget priced for the most part.

On campus there are many locations for food and dining at FIU. On campus there are coffee shops like Starbucks, fast food restaurants like burger king and subway ,papa john's pizza place, there is even a 300 seat Chilli's and much more. Pus, there are meal passes and dining plans available to help students save. Off Campus at BBC, there is Biscayne Blvd with hundreds of dining and food options. There are also alot of food and dining options near 8th Street where the MMC campus is located.

I personally think the cafeteria (Fresh Foods) dining options aren't always great. When I get tired of it, there's so much on campus. Barnes and Nobles Cafe, Starbucks, Cafe Bustelo, Chick-a-Filet, Chili's Too, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Einstein Bros & Bagels, Sushi Maki, Jamba Juice, Java City, Pollo Tropical, Subway, Papa Johns, Moe's, Salad Creations...okay my hand HURTS!

This is the food area where most students come for lunch. Here there is Burger King, Bustelo, Sushi, and Pollo Tropical.
