Florida International University is best known for its diversity. There are so many different cultures and beliefs represented on campus. Moreover, one doesn’t need to be a part of a specific culture to feel accepted in the school. Everywhere I turn there are different cultures communicating, working, and building relationships together. Our differences do not tear our school a part but make us one big community and family. There is a lot of diverse culture in Miami and FIU certainly represents that.

F.I.U is know for its student body diversity.
I've only been here for one year but my favorite tradition has to be the annual homecoming concert!
My favorite campus tradition (or more so superstition) is the spinning of the cube. You'll often see students spinning this large cube statue by our DM building because there is a saying that "if" you study hard enough and spin the cube the day before your exam, you're guaranteed an A. It's silly but when you see someone at the cube you just know they have an exam, and sometimes its the same one you are freaking out about. I've spun the cube plenty of times and have had its magic happen for me!
