We are definitely best known for our friendliness and willingness to help people. It is common knowledge that if you are walking around campus with a map you will not got 15 seconfs with out someone offering to help you find where you need to be headed! You can just call us Friendly State University.

Florida State is known for many things, but I believe that there are two categories that we are best known for: our arts and our atheltics. We have one of the finest music programs in the world and I've known many directors and conductors who are alumns from the Florida State University. Our athletics department is excellent considering throughout the 1990s we went to the National Championship tournaments and won the 1993 and 1999 game. Many college football players have went straight to the NFL because of our renowned football team.

My school is well know for it sports and its more than afforable med school.

FSU is best known for its academic strengthes and work ethic as well as its fun loving spirit and team loyalty.

Florida State University may be known for quite a bit of things. The two main things I would have to say is their Athletic Training program and probably football.

I guess the football team. We are rather competitive. Of course, Bowden's gone now, so who knows? I wish more people knew of our film program, which is bitching. Florida State University is best known for its extensive study-abroad program. Our program offers a huge variety of countries to study in and is available for most majors. Many other Florida universities use our program for their study-abroad students as well. Florida State University offers a lot of help in finding scholarships for studying abroad too.

My school is best known for our football team, the Seminoles.

We are know for football, even though we may not be champions. And we are known for being the oldest University in Florida.

Perhaps the best thing FSU is known for is its music school. We have one of the best in the country, not only in concert band but also in marching band. FSU has one of the largest marching bands in the country, The Marching Chiefs. The professors in the music department are some of the best in the country and people come from all over the country to get an opportunity to learn from them.

Everyone is so friendly and loves the school itself, SO.. football game tailgates are really popular. Its a great way to get to know people, have a good time, and support your school all at once. We have many different colleges on campus so you can basically learn anything you want.

It is best know for its sports and buissness school, I think.

My school is best known for our football team. We may not win every game but I have never seen a school be so supportive and team spirited no matter what the outcome of the game was. Everyone seems very optimistic. about future games.

Florida State University is most know for their football program. However, in the science field, it is most known for being the home of the worlds largest magnet. This magnet is used as a mass spectrometer and has been used in many experiments by our famous chemistry profesors.

My school is best known for being one of the top public universities in Florida. It has a great academic program and is very competitive with other universities/colleges nationwide. It is also known for extremely attractive girls and their varsity athletics program.

FSU is best known for football and school spirit!! We're also gaining ground in research fields, especially with our globally-known magnet lab.

However, we are also known for our outstanding academics. FSU has some of the best departments in the areas of study available at this university, for instance, dance, music, social work, law, education, and nursing.

We are best known for being a party school with a football problem as of late, but we are associated very strongly with our football team.

FSU is know for being a very liberal and artsy school. Most of the students here go to parties or clubs every weekend and most freshman go every day. Even though my school is not know for it's excellence in scientific research, I have had a good experience in this respect.
